Hello guys,

I got a simple/not so simple problem.

When I turn on XMP profile on my computer, it turns off fully and straight back on, booting into windows.

Problem I got is, everytime I turn my pc 100% off/cut its standby power by turning off my extension lead. It does this one power cycle everytime. Is this normal?

I got some G.Skill Trident Z rgb 3200 MHz, Asus maximus x code, And an i7 8700k.

Hope anyone got a tip or help, otherwise all works fine on my pc and rams. Just worried about this one power cycle it does everytime I cut the power.

Yes this is normal, its memory training your ram on each boot. Mine does the same. You'll need to swap out your power extension. Some systems can power cycle multiple times, on some overclocks my system can power cycle 3 to 5 times trying to get a good timing to successfully boot in to windows.

Thanks for your quick answer.

My extension lead is fine. When I leave the house I turn my whole electricity off as I'm scared of surges or etc. (Or what do you mean swapping extension lead?)

You are 100% sure that my pc got to power cycle every, I mean every single power on.

It does power on for like 1 second and then totally turns off and then restarts within 2 second.

I'm scared I did something wrong???

Thanks in advance ?
