Need software for basic video editing.

Hi

 

I want to get into basic video editing. Basically I want a program to that would allow me to cut out small sections of recorded gameplay and put them together for montage, put music over it and maybe some small effects like filters for a small portion of a video.

 

Any recommendations?

DaVinci Resolve is free and absolutely awesome
