DiskPart "clean"

How long does it take for the "clean" command in diskpart to complete? I'm waiting for about 10 minutes and no response, and the videos I saw on the internet are very fast ... Something wrong?

I just did this on a pile of 2.5 inch SATA HDDs collected from a few years of laptop HDD -> SSD upgrades.

I think the slowest one out of the whole pile took about maybe 15 seconds.

clean just deletes the partition table so it should be very fast. It if takes a while there might be something wrong with the drive.

Im so screwed .....I cleaned the hd of a friend, and also gave error in formatting the pc ... You are giving the error "elected boot device failed Press any key to reboot the system" when I ask to boot through the pendrive ... any tips? I am desperate

Does the usb boot fine? If not, remake it. What os?

 

If you have a error formatting, might be a bad drive.

im instaling again the windows 10 on the usb! ill try again and let u know... shit, my anxiety fucks me
