What is this folder for?

Hi guys,

 

I have a quick and simple question. What the hell is this folder for?

I have not noticed it before but if has a whole new Windows inside it. It may have come from some app or something but I doubt it.

Thanks in advance for any answers, I am running low on space and want to get rid of everything that is not important.

I'm not sure, so I have to ask few questions first. Have you done reinstall and decided to save files? Or have you run VM at some point? Because that looks like what windows.old folder would contain. Or what I imagine VM install might look like.

He could just check in Disk cleanup as an admin to see if that is the case.
