Ok so I’m putting a computer together for a family member and the mother bored is msi z97 gaming 5 that was given to me by a friend that he just upgraded was using it all the time and his old cpu i5 can’t be overclocked so my family member gives me his computer I keep the storage in it his power supply 550 watt his msi 960 graphics card and I’m letting him barrow one of my 8gb ram. So I put it all together and it just bootloops non stop I’ve tried everything from taking out everything not needed/wiping the cmos/ taking things in and out (only thing I havnt switched was the cpu and motherbored but they were already used together before)/ checked the cpu socket/ looked all over the motherbored for anything wrong / and obviously move the ram around checking where it goes is all good. does anyone have any idea what else I could try ?
