Android widget problem

How can I change this so the album cover takes up the whole widget?

 

I recently reset my phone and previously it took up the whole thing, but now it isn't.

The 4x1 Google music widget which previously works if I scale it down to 1x1, but will not work now.

I don’t have option to scale the big one to smaller, so testing things is nada. My guess is that it was bug and they have fixed it.
