So my PC recently ran into problems when booting, I keep getting blue screens and it just won't boot. I know I should have made a back up of windows 10 or a system restore point but since I just received my PC about a month ago I was not expecting for it to do this and hadn't come around to doing it. So my question is, if i had to could i do a clean install of windows 10 somehow without having a backup? Thank you for any help you guys may offer.

You can reset windows. This will use the same partition and your old files will be backup by windows as long as you have enough space.

The files will be put inside /windows_old folder.

Or

You can unplug the drive and move it to another pc and then copy all the files you want to keep.

And then fresh install.
