Which CPU is faster?

Because you have a laptop CPU.  Its likely soldered onto the board.  If its not, it 99.9% does not use the standard desktop socket.

Yeah, the non-soldered version of that CPU uses a pin grid array socket, not the desktop land grid array socket.

Look at the socket type on the specs.  You need something with that socket.
