Microphone Streaming Issue OBS

Hello, I recently bought my little brother a capture card (Not elgato) This device

The card works perfectly and provides 1080p 60fps. 

 

Here's the issue. I am getting game video, audio and microphone input from mic plugged into PC (Blue Snowball). BUT I am not able to get ingame Comms. I've tried plugging the headset into the controller so that he can use the headset microphone ALONG side the computers Snowball; this cuts out the ingame audio, because it directs all of the game sound into the the headset.

 

I am so lost with this. Any help would be appreciated.
