Hello, i want to build a pc but i'm not sure about some parts, so i'm dropping it up here to see if everything is alright : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rfCg7W

I'll get SSDs later, for now i'm trying to do a gaming machine on wich i can use photoshop, adobe premiere pro and after effects. I also mainly play skyrim, because it's great.

I already bought :

-the case

-the PSU ( yes 1000 watts is overkill but i didn't knew of pcpartpicker and their watts displaying system, so i bought one that i knew would work )

-The graphic card

It's my first build, i tried to follow Bitwit's and Linus Tech Tips guides, but i'm not sure everything is alright so i post it there.

Thanks for reading it all and maybe answering me !

PS : Excuse my bad english, i'm not a native :/

I can't follow that, it's not linked and if I copy/paste it into google it just does a search.

edit: thnx. made some room for an SSD for you, the 2700 is the same as the 2700x if you OC and with that cooling/mobo setup you should.

You can save even more money by changing the motherboard to something a little cheaper and the water cooler for a high quality air cooler.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Thanks Fasauceome, i'll look into it !

And yeah, 1000 is a bit overkill but i did it 3 months ago while i didn't knew much about computers so... :/

Edit : I've heard that dark rock pro 4 are great, is that true ? ( I don't mind my computer releasing a lot of heat, i just wanna keep my CPU as long as i can )
