Pc being a pain

BerGar92

So my friends pc is having trouble installing 1060 drivers but on his pc they don't install but his gpu works fine in my pc with my 1060 drivers so we install the drivers on his ssd on my pc with my 1060 they install but then don't work when the ssd is transferred so we then change the mobo for an identical one which we know works and it just wont boot at all then. The only thing i could think of is dodgy gpu bios but then how did it work on my pc? Do you know what the problem is?

Okay. Sorry to be like this, but please try to use coherent sentences a bit more... That was very hard to read and made it difficult to understand what you did.

moving on from that: If you meant that his GPU worked properly in your system, at any point in time, that means the GPU is fine. I would get him to run DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then re-download the drivers from nvidia, and install them again. It'll probably work.
