I dont get it, so how picky is he? on just the price?

anyway it all depends on his current PC and expectations.

eg on last build on list, it will be more comfort for faster 2x rams & only 1x ssd (500g)

if he would OC, get a tower cooler under ~$30

why not getting a 2600? better performance out of the box, and 6c12t is more than enough, + they are a bit cheaper. Also leave the dual channel memory kit with 3000 MHz in there and 250GB SSD do not cost that much more and give you way more value over a 120GB

other than that the cheapest build is fine imo

 

But tbh... the most price you shove of because you dropped the peripherals
