Is this CPU soldered?

I want to upgrade to an amd atlon apu, so I was wondering if this was soldered.  I have a 2011 dell latitude.

No thats a socket.

Where the hole is in the black metal above the white socket there is a black flat head screw, twist is 90 or 180 (I forget) degrees and you can remove the cpu.

I just told you^, also thats an Intel I7 2620m you cannot put an AMD cpu in there.

You might be able to get a real quad core in there like a 2670QM but I don't know if the BIOS or the cooling can handle it.

Ok, how would you take the CPU out?

a small flat head screwdriver most likely. The in the middle, there is a hole with an arrow pointing to it. My old Centrino laptop is the same way.

There's no place like ~
