astro A50 xbox version

can the astro A50s dock be plugged into an xbox one and pc at the same time? i understand theres a switch on the dock to switch between pc and xbox on the version i ordered as its the same pair my friend has but he doesnt have a pc to test it on, i do but they havent arrived in the mail yet. i would think it works like that otherwise whats the point of having that switch, right?
