Disable the audio devices? There should be AMD/Nvidia High Definition Audio devices in the output section of Sounds settings and just disable all but the ones you need?

Hello,

 

does anyone know a way how to setup a way that the monitor only shows picture but no sound is sent to the monitor? The monitor does not have any speakers but because DP cable sends picture and sound info to the monitor some things such as skypeing etc can be really tedious because each time after switching sound option the cable has to be disconnected and reconnected for the change to apply.
