AMP DAC

I need someones help with this so I'm planning to get a amp dac combo for the HD6XX

and I went over to the JDS Labs website to find The Atom amp and OL Dac as a nice combo

but on the other end i see over on Massdrop Liquid Carbon X +SDAC DAC/AMP

and the combo of the Massdrop Objective 2 Headphone Amp with the Massdrop x Grace Design Standard DAC

so i have a few questions first is the Massdrop Liquid Carbon X +SDAC Dac/amp have a Dac that is up to par with other external Dacs

Second which combos able to power the HD6XX properly with being able to hit those mid to high ranges

Last what would you pick out of the three choices

Objective 2 is pretty outdated now. SDAC is pretty good and I'd say better than most DAC's out there, so get the Atom with the Schiit Modi 3 or SDAC, as either of those two will do much better than the OL DAC. As for powering, any of those will work.

I have the same headphones but im using a Fx-Audio DAC x6 and it is NOT enough power I had it before I got the headphones so I dont mind using it and if I really need more power I go over to my stereo setup in the living room and plug them into my receiver.. 

 

So as long as the amplifier in what your looking at puts out more juice than my fx-audio unit  which is 180mw @ 300ohm it should get loud enough but I was looking at getting the Schiit Audio setup the amp puts out over double the power 430mw @ 300ohm.  Excellent setup for $200.00 USD.

out of the atom and carbon I would pick the atom. I love my liquid spark but at the pricepoint the liquid carbon is at I would save a ittle it more and wait for the THX AAA personally also made by massdrop.
