Rog Strix B350-F gaming motherboard, Coolermaster Masterbox Pro 5 RGB case.

So I have been trying to help my brother make a computer and we’ve run into an issue. Our case’s slot for the IO shield seems to be too small for our IO shield. I’ve tested it on 2 different cases of mine and they both have the shield pop in after a few seconds of positioning and pushing, but the Masterbox seems to be different. I can only get 2 of the vertical sides in and 1 horizontal side of the shield in. No matter how much I try to push it won’t matter because it doesnt have clearence on either side to ever slide in.

So is it my case, my IO shield, or am I missing something? Am I not doing it right or is there a method I don’t know?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Stop!

Hammertime!

I/O shields are flexible, it might take some squishing to get it in. Have you tried flexing the edges a lot?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Tried flexing it quite a bit, still not going in.

Any pliers? giving the edges a hearty reshaping might help. I/O shields are a standard size, but of manufacturing has error boundaries.
