download the update package manually and try installing that way.

Can u give me the update number thats failing to install, i will try and point u in the right direction.

 

Updates usually start with letters KB.

I've had this problem too, I'm not in the insider program but it does this all the time when i setup a new computer and have to download a bunch of updates. I just keep restarting and eventually it installs all of them.
