$1200 refresh rate don't really care about but resolution could be 1080P

For a laptop, take a look at one of Dell's G5/7 gaming laptops, you can sift through their configurations here:

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/gaming-laptops-desktops/sc/game/g-series

For a desktop though, heres a small ITX build that would be decent for transportation, dont need anything more than this either for 1080p gaming

Also, will perform much better than any laptop you'll find for that price.

If you're considering a 1080p 60hz monitor, down the graphics card to an RX 580 8GB

So I want to build a PC but we'll I guess my eyes are bigger then my wallet and since I have 2 Consoles the Xbox one and PS4 I don't need a top of the line expensive gaming pc.

What I really want is a gaming laptop but towers are generally cheaper or so I have heard.

Anyways what I would love a PC for:

- some 3D animation nothing super crazy.

- Gaming AAA title games would be nice but what I would be using it for would be to play games like Minecraft with mods, Skyrim on high graphics also with mods and other games in and around that area.

Pretty much everything else is just normal PC stuff so nothing to worry about there.

I have always been fascinated by aliens so if I could Alienware would be awesome but not worth the money.

If anyone has some suggestions would be much appreciated.

To be honest I would love a laptop due to its portability rather then the tower as it would save not having to buy a monitor.

You need to give us a budget, location and screen resolution/refresh rate

Can't really do much without it
