Freesync and g sync help

Hey so I was gonna buy a free sync monitor to use with my gtx1080 and I was wondering if a g sync compatible monitor works even when there are 2 DIFFERENT monitors plugged in. The main one having free sync but g sync compatible and the other not having either

Thanks also, do I have to enable vsync on the nvidia control panel? I saw this on jokers video but not on anyone else videos. If I enable vsync it will cause more input lag. So do i have to enable it or not? Thanks!
