Geforce experience optimum setting

Hi, im a hit curious wheather to use geforce experience optimum setting on game or not. Im using 1070 gtx atm. For example if i use optimum setting on 4k, it set to low garfic setting. In my case playing assassin creed odyssey. But when i set manually on medium high. My game still run smoothly. I wonder it is recommended to set automaticly with geforce experience   or just ser it manually.
