Something I am looking into is a higher failure rate on WU's with the GPU's. I run the monitoring program HFM.NET to keep an eye on all my systems and it all tracks completed and failed WU's. My two main GPU's that run on my main rig are having a LOT of failed ones. I am wondering if this is because of the new client and it's medium setting? The GPU's spin up and down a lot during the day as I use the system. I have of late been running it at Full when I can and seeing a decline in the failure rate.

Going to do a bit of research...

Good to know - usually resets after a reboot, but for some reason reset all the stats last night, so probably right warmon...

Think I have figured it out - looks like from a post I found HFM.NET reads the log file - and interprets a "pause" as a failure. Well, with the new V7.x client set on Medium, you end up pausing the GPU folding a lot if you are like me and back and forth on your system during a day.

I have set the slider to Full and sure enough, the number of failures has dramatically gone down... Makes sense... was only seeing failed ones on the one system I use that isn't dedicated to folding so GPU's get paused a bunch. Apparently a update is "planned" that should address this...

It will fold - on the medium setting though, it only starts when your system goes into idle mode, like when the screen saver comes on. I set my screen saver for 5 minutes on mine, but most of time, run at Full anyways....
