Hey guys,

 

I was wondering if anyone in the past/present has had dealings with Lucidsound, they are a headset manufacture. I purchased a headset from them 7 months ago, after 2 months of owning probably the most expensive headphones i've ever bought, they randomly died (they are in perfect condition still, purchased new).

 

For the last 5 months i've been communicating with them over twitter, I have sent proof of purchase and they have agreed to replace the headset after about 4 months of going threw their process. A month later they still haven't send out a replacement. Three weeks ago they said they would send it within a couple of days, a week later they said they haven't sent it yet but they will "let me know when they do". 2 weeks after that I've heard nothing.

 

The question that I'm asking you guys is, Am I waisting my time? Has anyone else dealt with them before?

 

I don't mean to lay it on too thick but I'm poor as shit, took me mutiple months to save for them and well quite frankly I'm a little pissed. I guess it serves me right for trying a new brand.

I think you might be out of luck since your out of the 120 day charge-back period.I recommend on posting your story on Reddit or twitter to try and shame them into action.After reading reviews it seems that these headphones are also pretty good,but just suffer from really shitty QC.

I'm prepaired to shame the shit out of them, but I wanted to give them a chance to replace the unit. They gave me a little hope and then they ghost me. I really can't afford to replace them right now so I'm kinda hoping they come threw for me. I'll probably wait another couple of weeks before blasting them.

You've given them 7 months already and it hasn't even been shipped yet.Honestly there long overdue.I would message them 1 more time threatening to post it on twitter along with screenshots and go from there

5 months, they were working fine for 2 months. But yeah I've sent them an agro message tonight. If I don't get a response then I'll send them another message with your advice.

If I could undo my choice I would but now I'm stuck with speakers on my monitor because I just can't afford to replace them. I watched a couple of reviews, they were positive so I tryed them out. The audio quality is great, can't knock them for that.

Update: I am currently wearing my replacement LS30's, as soon as I started going HAM on there twitter with 2 accounts they listened. The excuse was the EU team was undergoing changes which is why It took 5 months.
