Laptop advice

Hey all, 

 

I've never had a laptop before and I'm buying my first one soon, locally, it's an i7 7th gen with GTX 1050 ti and 8gb ddr4 2400, is 500 a fair price?

I'd say that's a pretty good price, so long as it isn't a scam or the rest of the laptop isn't total junk.

Oh yeah, it's 500 USD and it's a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with the specs stated above with a 256 SSD boot drive
