Need Help With RAM DOCP

Hey guys I recently built my PC.

This is my build:

So the corsair ram I bought was auto set to 2133 mhz, even though it is 3000 mhz. So i used the DCOP profile available to set it to 3000 mhz. I have linked the pictures, which show the DCOP settings (note I have saved these setting and restarted my pc multiple times to ensure they were set). However as you can see from the second image, even though the DCOP has changed frequency to 3000 mhz and voltage to 1.35V, the settings on the right of the second image still shows the voltage as 1.2 V rather than the new 1.35 V (although the frequency has changed to 3000 mhz). Furthermore, as seen in the third image, when i went into other settings, DIMM is still shwoing frequency at 2133 mhz. So im just wondering, am I doing something wrong and has the RAM frequency truly changed, because I dont want to mess up anything at the wrong voltage.

Try using the X.M.P profile that might yield a good result and what not.

Bios 0207 but I only find 0504, 0602, 1003, 1103 and 1201 on the page of the board. Strange. Is that the latest bios you could have?

Hey I just noticed that too, would updating it to 1201 work? Also to update it would I just need to download it from the website?

Hey I just noticed that too, would updating it to 1201 work? Also to update it would I just need to download it from the website?

Bios flash instructions are usually found in the manual. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B450-F-GAMING/HelpDesk_Manual/

DOCP is Asuses name for XMP that they use on AMD systems.

Oh I see didn't know that.  How about if you manually go and set it to 3000Mhz and not use DOCP .... ?

Let's first see what the confusion with the bios versions turns out to be.

The latest bios should include AGESA 1.0.0.6 which should solve some memory related issues.

Hey it looks like BIOS 0207 is the version it comes with.

So should i go ahead and try to update it or stick to the bios it came with and try to find another solution?

Update the bios. If 0207 is what the board comes with it has to be some old version.

Agesa 1.0.0.6 improves memory compatibility a lot.

Hey just wanted to give an update. I did end up updating the bios to the new 1201 version and everything is running perfectly now, the frequency and voltages. Thanks alot!
