Stuttering

Hi,

 

My computer stutters when i game. It looks like my mouse laggs out and it moves realy slow.

The things i see is that my processor is running at 100% when playing.

The games i play are pubg and Apex Legends.

 

My system;

I5-6600k Not overclocked

GTX 1080 ti.

MSI Gaming M3

 

Could overcklocking my processor help?

Should i get a better processor like I7-7700K?

not really, it helps only a bit but still when you come down to a situation like this, the cpu is too far behind.

its an intel chip, is anything overheating?

Check temperatures.

since your cpu is hitting 100%, the whole system will stop for a second to catch up on what it needs to do, forcing your game to stutter as it cant push as many frames  (to put it simply)

try limiting the fps, or actually increasing the video settings / resolution to put some more load on the gpu and not the cpu

overclocking could help slightly, the whole reason to get a K series chip however is to have overclocking functionality, so why not anyway?

When i'm gaming the temps are around 50°C

Oke i wil try and increase the video settings and see what will happen.

resolution is at 1920*1080 but i will try to enable vsync
