Hello ? Before I start please give this a chance and read through this as later on it will make more sense why I’ve posted in this section. I’m not sure what the problem is that I’ve experienced this past year actually is, otherwise it would be fixed. So, i was gaming around 11-12 months ago enjoying myself playing Fortnite and I get into a game and I notice Input lag and I thought ewwwww this is disgusting and reset my Xbox and went back onto Fortnite and it was gone. I thought all was good that it must of been a one time thing but the next day it happens again, then the next day it happens twice and three time And four times and so on. It got to a point I was restarting my Xbox every other game. Eventually after around 3-4 weeks of this it became permanent, there was no way to get rid of it not even resting would fix it anymore and your probably thinking it’s just the Xbox but I don’t think it is because I reset it and wiped it I did everything to make it work and I use a Wired connection and still noting so at this point I thought it must be the Xbox it’s quite an old Xbox One had it for about 3 years. So I decided to switch to PC and guess what... For about a week or two it was fine and I was playing CSG and it was snappy and instant movement and it felt great! And then the Input delay came along. And I’m a quite unlucky guy so I thought it must just be a dodgy PC so after a replace of graphics card and checked out by the Supplier I returned it and bought a new and better PC and guess what its still fucking lagging! It has Input delay it’s super choppy and laggy looking around into areas that have other players or buildings and like wtaf. And during all this time I’ve been on the phone to my ISP complaining saying it’s their internet etc and they sent engineers out to look at it and they were saying everything is fine etc. And by the way I used 2 different monitors, one is 144Hz and the other is 240Hz Alienwear monitor and they are both really good and I also went through to sets of keyboard and mice and still the same. We upgraded our speeds on our internet and eventually switched ISP and got even better speeds and it’s still the same. We’ve also moved house at this time so the area couldn’t of been the issue as it was the same in both houses. I’m lost for words at this point, all I want to do is game and stream Fortnite like I was doing 11-12 months ago but I can’t and is fucking annoying me. PLEASE HELP ME. I’ve switched PC’s, monitors, keyboards, mice, internet, house and switched from Xbox and its still the same. You would think because it’s Choppy and Input delay it would be the the computer but it doesn’t seem to be that way. My speeds are download 67mbps and upload is 20mbps. My current PC specs

your paragraph is quite hard to read, and im not sure if youre saying that your internet is laggy or if youre experiencing frame lag

are you sure nothing was installing in the background? my xbox does this alot and makes games only half playable

resetting just stalls the install process until it figures out it can start installing again

how would your internet connection affect your input delay? are you talking input lag or bad ping/network

This doesnt make sense, chopiness and lag from looking into areas with players and buildings would be client side and your computers performance, it would have nothing to do with your network connection

could you record a video with your phone of what you're experiencing?

Sorry for the bad explanation, but that’s what I mean I’m so confused at this point I just don’t know what it is and I’m not the best with computers so it’s hard for me to say what it is. And no there is nothing downloading in the background of my Xbox for 11 months ? but thanks for the quick reply. And my PC has recently broken, when I start the PC it beeps 4 times then shuts off so I can’t video that but maybe I can video my Xbox gameplay for you.
