I was just wondering if when you SLI, if the cards have to be the same clock speed? I got the SC 780 ti at microcenter for the same price as the stock and was wondering if when I go SLI, will I have to get another SC or overclock it up to the same speed, or just have the at different speeds.

The faster card will slow down to match the slower one.

As long as the cards of the same on the inside (780ti) they will work but the cards will over/underclock to the card in the 1st PCIE slot

I'd say go with another SC so that you know you'll at least match the performance of the other one. But yes, they have to have the same clock speed, but they will do it automatically.

I've seen my SLI 780Tis go up to 1300+MHz when benchmarking, it's insane.
