Of those 4 Motherboards. Which one do you recommend? I heard the Master is popular. Some use it for its overclocking features. I don't really do any overclocking as the ambient temps in my room wouldn't be good for such things.

then whichever you like, all are more than enough to handle or even overclock pretty far on a 9900k

there's a reason i list then, because i recommend them

On my 3930k. It runs at 3.20Ghz stock. When Turbo is enabled. It runs at 3.8Ghz. I usually set it to Sync all cores. Which would mean all cores will run at 3.8Ghz when its being used. I have Windows 10 Pro's Power Option set to Balance. So that all the Cores aren't running at the full 3.8Ghz all the time.

If I wanted all cores to run at 3.8Ghz. I would set the Power Option to High Performance or Ultimate Performance. Those two Power Options would actually us power from the PSU. Its a good thing my PSU is a 850 watt.

The 9900k will probably use way more power when overclocking all cores to 5.0Ghz.

If I get a 9900k. Then all I would need to do is enable Turbo, Sync All Cores and allow Windows to manage the power.

more than 850? no

a 9900k would run around 275 watts from the psu, 300 from the 1080 ti, 50 watts from the other components, and I'm still not on 850 watts

I decided to go with the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master, 9900k, 32GB DDR4 3200mhz Dual Channel Ram Kit, and 1TB Western Digital Black NVME SSD for my new build. I'll be using the same CPU Cooler which is the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. The parts are arriving soon.
