Router problem

I can't update firmware on my DIR-501 dlink wifi router, my packet prioritization and QoS went derp mode. Anything that I download takes 100% of my connection and disconnects me from teamspeak and games. It is annoying as fuck, even 4mb file does that. I can't find firmware info or anyting on the internet for this router. Can you find it?

Official site doesn't seem to have any firmwares for that router, you may need to get a new one if its still playing up.

 

 

Edit: You could try a factory reset before that though.

get dd-wrt if you can get it working its custom firmware. http://dd-wrt.com/site/index

 

make sure you install the correct version for your router

 

I second this, I always recommend anyone who is buying a router to buy a DD-WRT compatible router and put the firmware on it.
