VPN proxy server sign in pop-up

Not sure what happened, but every time I start up my VPN and search for something, e.g 'hello',  it comes up with a pop up for me to sign in to some proxy server thing. At first, I thought it was malware and cleaned up my entire laptop, but it still hasn't fixed the issue. Really don't know why it just started doing that today, anyone have any suggestions?
