Generic Audio Driver Problem

Any downloaded file I have does not have any audio in it. Online video such as YouTube and others are fine. I moved the files over to my laptop and then they worked fine there but once I moved it back onto my other computer there was no audio again. I troubleshooted and it says that it has detected a problem with my "Generic Audio Driver". I have "Realtek High Definition Audio". I just don't know how to fix it from here and any help would be great, thanks
