I am looking to build my first pc. I have done quite a bit of research in the last month or so but I have quite limited experience. My budget is around $1500-$1700 (AUD) and it would be used primarily for gaming, school work, and general web browsing.

The part list is:

• AMD Ryzen 5 2600

• EITHER a GTX 2070 or RTX 2060 (which one would you recommend)

• MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard

• 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) of DDR4-3000 RAM

• Silverstone 600 W, 80+ Bronze PSU

• Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD

• Either a 250 GB or 500 GB SSD (SSD will hold windows 10, and my most played games, what size would you recommend?)

• Thermaltake Versa J25 Case

What do you think of my build? Should I get the GTX 1070 or RTX 2060? 250 GB or 500 GB SSD? Any other feedback or help on the build?

Any and all help is appreciated,

Thanks

I just realised the price went up since I added it to the list, it was on sale for $175. Is the G. Skill Ripjaw V a good choice?

it'll last longer before needing an upgrade, you can keep it unless you need the money for something else.
