Is it worth buying?

Hi all.

I've found an ASUS X99 Deluxe for £65 with postage.

The only problem is that it displays a B1 error code. I've read some forums and found that a possible fix is a BIOS update. 

Is it worth buying?

Asus has an out of warranty repair fee, if you got a DOA board and we're willing to put up with Asus customer support for a month it may be worth it. I don't know what the rate would be for that board but they have different rates for different fixes, so if it can be repaired instead of replaced then it's cheaper.

I'm trying to get a board for as cheap as possible (being on a budget I'm looking for defective/untested boards), so hopefully it won't be too much.

I'll try calling ASUS customer support and try to figure out a price (if they allow that).
