Voltage ripple question

I have a 1060 6gb that I’m overclocking and it keeps saying there’s a voltage limit and somethings the power limit thing shows on formark, even with a core offset of only 100mhz. I have a Thermaltake smart 650w semi modular and it has a voltage ripple of 50mV. (My cpu is an i5 6600k at stock) is 50mV bad, and would it effect my ability to have stable overclocks on my gpu? Thanks!

excessive ripple is not good to have

Here's a GN Article writing about voltage ripple and its effects on OCing. Yes, all PSUs have some ripple, but on some (such as the RM850x) have ripples as low as 10mv, whic could help at overclocking.

Yeah that’s what I was assuming I just don’t know what counts as high ripple

I'm actually at A&M right now, but I went to GHS and EVHS.

I ran the 3, 2, and 1m. This years, the GHS team isn't good.

Oh that’s tuff. I run for stp and do the 1600 and 800 (and the 5k for Xc obviously) this is actually hella cool to me to see someone that’s interested in such similar things, also, yeah can’t cap ghs was kindof ass last season
