Posted February 12, 2019 So after watching their video on the cleanest setup, I was wondering if a thunderbolt 3 dock is necessary. I’m no tech genius but would it be possible to take a laptop such as the razor blade stealth they used and hook it up to a external graphics enclosure such as the razor core and then hook up your monitor(s) via hdmi and other peripherals by usb to the core? Also why did they use a dock in the video? Was it purely for stealthing the setup or am I not fully understanding the concept, thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted February 12, 2019 Yes, that would work but you would need more than one cable so it wouldn't be as clean. Okay thank you, I’m not worried that much on keeping a perfectly clean desk so I don’t think it would be worth it to spend that extra money for the dock.
