Hi!

I'm getting myself a new Motherboard and I have some question regarding the installation.

1, Since my old Motherboard died and I had no chance to deactivate windows on my old PC. Will the windows 10 key still work?

2, The old windows files are currently stored on my 250gb SSD, will reinstalling windows create a new duplicate file? Or will the old file dissapear.

Thanks!

1. Depends on the type of the license. OEM won't transfer to the new PC/motherboard.

2. Specify reinstalling. Clean install or just Reset your system in Settings app?

Windows 10 was free for years, not anymore...
