PC for Boss Kid

Alright. I need your help. My boss wants to give his 11 year old a gaming computer for his birthday. He's really hoping to have it done by Friday (...), luckily there's a Fry's near me. He was thinking $300 but I told him it probably wouldn't be worth anything unless he went to at least $500. So...I have some ideas of what I want, but I could use suggestions- especially since I'm on a time crunch. 

With a $300-$500 limit what would be your build for a 11 year Fortnight player?

2200G+RX 570 should fit in a $500 budget, though i'm not sure about Fry's prices.
