So when I hook up my laptop to a tv (ive tried multiple tv's) the image when streaming a video periodically freezes (for a second or so) on the tv screen but not on the laptop screen. What could be causing this/ has anyone else had the same issue?

You should try display port and see what happens, worth a shot.

Op what are your specs?

And does the whole screen freeze?

Or just sections of the screen like the video or images

also does the issue happen when they are only mirrored and if you turn the mirroring off does it work?
