Just ignore it, nothing happens if you don't but something bad could happen if you do.

That's what I was thinking and strangely enough my step dad had recently got home.

I can't remember what his desktop has and no clue about his laptop. But I personally don't have any dual core computers and especially not Dell.

This just randomly popped up while I was doing some video/photo/audio editing. The only thing I was doing on the internet was Pandora.

War-PC is me but no idea who DUALCOREDELL is!

Looks like you were redirected to connect to that PC. Hit cancel, and double check to make sure you have some sort of firewall set up.

It just popped up again.

Do you have your computer shared as an Ad-Hoc network?

How do I check to see if it is? I really lack in the network field.

Is your computer hooked up via LAN or Wifi?

LAN

Ok, then it shouldn't be an ad-hoc network issue as that is wireless.

Are you trying to access a shared network device like a Printer or a Folder?

Nope.

Well you have to be trying to connect to your dads computer. That would be the only reasons this would pop up. Are you sure you don't have a shared folder/drive or device on the network? Or a program that is trying to connect to his computer?

There isn't anything that I can think of that would have. It hasn't popped up again since he left.

That is because his computer is probably off.

Yeah. I really have no idea what was trying to be accessed. Thanks for the help. :)

I would recommend you check his computer to see what is going on.
