Random Lag Spikes While Playing Games

When I am play games on my PC, my fps drops randomly causing the games to be unplayable.  When this happens, my cpu usage and gpu usage drop.

 

My Specs:

Ryzen 3 2200g (iGpu disabled)

GTX 1060 3gb

Patriot viper memory 8gb

Seasonic 520w bronze 80+ PSU

Gigabyte B450 DS3H motherboard

Seagate FireCuda 1tb hybrid drive

 

Any suggestions?  I have been troubleshooting for a long time now and would appreciate any help.

Single stick running at 2133.  I play Fortnite, PUBG, CS:GO, Overwatch, and others

That will be your problem.

Ryzen performs worse with slow memory, and even worse without dual channel memory.

Got 2 sticks of 3000 MHz.  Didn't fix my problem.

Did you install them into the correct RAM slots and then activate XMP/DOCP?  

 

Also, is the firmware and drivers for you SSHD up to date.  

 

Which games are you playing?  Do you have shader cache turned on?
