Howdy, newbie to the forums here but I watch LTT every night before bed and its almost like watching reruns on T.V. of you favorite show.  Anyways, I have an Asus Strix GTX 1060 6gb factory O.C. card (yes I know it's a baby but it gets the job done) that seems to be maxed on boost and memory clock whenever I boot up my PC.  I disabled most of the Windows labeled "High" applications in task manager, however I have seen no change what so ever.  I also have an issue where I see that 48% of my system memory/Ram is being used at almost all times.  The processes seem to be bit defender and the nord VPN I have to use in order to play overwatch because my university's firewall does not enjoy blizzards voice communication system.  Any and all help would be appreciated please and thank you.

Have you tested by disabling these, even though you wouldn't be able to play online while they're disabled? It may be a background process that's hidden that's the actual culprit.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Just disabled both and no change.  also when i go into user in task manager I see that my user account is accounting for 30% of the total 48-50% used
