Hey guys not so long ago i got a R9 280x and for some reason on every startup there is a problem recognizing my main screen which is connected via HDMI.
After it finally being connected and i'm in windows my browser for some reason black screens when i'm watching videos or just scrolling through Facebook.
I does this only when i have Hardware acceleration enabled.I doesn't do that if i restart my pc but whenever i switch it on from being off these kind of things happen.
I tried 19.1.1/19.1.2/19.2.1 and none of them seem to be going anything.
It is not a faulty card for sure because i've tested 2 more 280x  and same things happen.
Any ideas whatsoever or someone who is facing the same problems ?

My card is a Sapphire Toxic OC edition with 1150mhz clock speed and i've read that these cards have too low idle speed which makes the system unstable is there any fix for this?

that shouldnt be the issue, but if it is. in radeon software you can change the idleclocks in the overclocker.

also try a different cablle or connector.

I already tried with a new HDMI cable which fixed the 1st issue but only for a couple days ,, and where exactly i can change the idle clocks?

look at changing idleclocks in the overclocker in radeon software. though that honestly should not and would not tbe the issue.

try a different connector if possible

Yes ofcourse i used DDU and installed the drivers like 3 times already. It seems to be working fine but that's just because it's restarted and not switched on from being off.

try a different monitor or TV if possible. may be an issue there instead.

(im not a great troubleshooter, but its better than nothing)

I now tried using the second DVI port on the graphics card instead of the HDMI via HDMI to DVI converter and it booted right into windows where before after the windows boot screen both of my screen would lose singal and go to sleep and after a couple seconds they will turn back on with the log in screen.
I guess it was the HDMI port of the card that's bad or just the TV that i'm using isn't compatible or some sort cuz i never had issues with it before but i was an Nvidia user then..

try using DP to HDMI. because DP masterace. could also just be an issue with the port on the TV. hence trying a different display

Also for some reason after changing from HDMI to DVI via HDMI to DVI connector my card started idling at 300mhz instead of 500mhz which idk if it's related but it never did that before and also the temps are normal now sitting at around 34 at idle where before it never came down from 45..

that is odd behavior to say the least.......
