So I have the IKEA Alex drawers and a kitchen counter top as my desk but I want to get a better one and also I moved so I need something smaller right now. The kitchen counter top is 74" long I need to find something that's about 60" long so I was hoping you guys had some good suggestions. I'd prefer a sit-stand desk but if you know one that's just sit but its good please do tell me about it. and I would want something that has a lot of leg room so preferably no desks or maybe just on one side if you think the desk is worth looking at. I don't have a specific budget but Id prefer under $600 but if you think there is a good sit-stand desk that I should look at I dont mind paying in the $1000 range. and If you know of a good cheap desk I would also like to look at it.

I was thinking going with the autonomous smartdesk DIY what do you guys think of it. Is it worth it and what are some other better options I should look at.

Thank you and sorry If I posted this in the wrong area I didn't know where this would be appropriate.

Check the weight limits on it as kitchen counters can be heavy. You could also get 2 and have a massive desk.

I like the idea.
