Hi guys.

I need to buy a new PSU but I would like to hear some suggestions first

My current PC:

MB: Asus m5a88v-evo
CPU: FX 6300

RAM: 2x4Gb Kingston 1600mhz

GPU: Asrock RX 580 Phantom Gaming D

And these are some PSU that I have been looking at:

https://seasonic.com/m12ii-evo (The 620w model)

https://asia.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-GD-0550-V2

What do you think? Is one of these a good PSU or should I buy another model?

Or you could always go cheap and cascade power supplies you have to make the output you need.

(Just don't directly combine 2 PSU units. Without a regulator, that won't end well)

A few years back I did this in my early experiments when I needed more connectors for more components, so I grabbed an old PSU, plugged in the connector for my CPU only, and hotwired the green (PS ON signal) wire to black ground and it worked.
