Can't enable xmp

Don't be afraid to up to 1.4 or higher if it gives you the speed you are looking for.  DDR4 can take it.

 

hey, so I recently realised that my pc's ram has been running on 2133mhz instead of the 3000 advertised when I bought it, so I checked my ram settings in bios and found out  xmp was disabled. I enable it, then reboot and get the error on the image (sorry for shit quality). CPU is it 6500, ram is a Corsair kit with a gigabyte z170 board. Any thoughts?
