Why don't more companies design mouse that have a longer right click than the left click. The middle finger is after all longer than the index finger, and I have found myself overreaching only the right button at times, and not the left one. Only mouse I've seen so far with a longer right click is the Logitech G602

Probably because most people claw grip it because for some reason (at least for me) it feels really weird to have your palm pressed against the top of the mouse in order to relax your fingers.

Most people palm grip their mice, so I think it would make more sense to make the right click slightly longer.

Why are you moving your fingers around on the mouse?

How are you holding the mouse?

If it was a issue then every gaming company would make one.

What do you mean by moving my fingers around on the mouse? I meant that if I place my hand on the mouse, my middle finger is longer than the right click, so it digs into the mouse, and hurts after a few minutes. I palm my mouse, but with my G400s I have to palm it further back, because I overreach the right click, and not the left click. No problems with my Rival though, as both clicks are more than long enough.

Typically you want as short of a click distance as possible so marketing having extra distance probably would not fly with gamers.

I don't mean click distance, I mean the button's physical length. You can see on the Logitech G602, that the right click is physically longer than the left click. Know what I mean now?

Just curious how you know that?

I have seen a lot of polls with "palm grip" being the thing selected the most, then fingertip, and the least selected, was claw grip in most of them.

I claw grip, and most of the people I know claw grip too, so maybe that's why they do them like that

Hmm, most of the people I know either palm or fingertip.

Most people you know isnt the majority of the worlds gamer population.

Just saying if it was an actual issue they would make a product for that group of people.

Ive never seen anyone palm grip to be honest.

I also said that I've seen many polls where the majority of people selected "palm grip" as an alternative.
