Hi guys, currently I'm having the following system: r5 1600 3.6, corsair 16 gb 3k, rx580 8gb xxx, Adata M.2 Pcie 4x 512MB, seasonic 620w psu.

Having seeing the recently released rtx series, I saw that even the rtx 2060 is a 40-50% gain over rx x80 series.  This gain was taken from what I saw on youtube, not sure if it will be the same on my computer.

My options are: rtx 2060 445$ (bf5/anthem) or vega56 at 410$ (re2/division 2/yakuza) in my country. Would you guys consider this upgrade? I'm a little skpetical since it's a lot of hate recently towards the rtx stuff being pushed on with high prices.

On some forums I saw people comparing rx590 with rtx 2060; I'm not even sure how they compare this, because now 2060 is more an old 1070ti, where 590, it's some extra fps over 580. Or I'm missing something here?

The promotion is over for battlefield and anthem.  So forget about those 2 games.  Grab a 2060 RTX if your gaming @ 1080p.  What resolution and game settings you use ?

I don't think you have a real need to upgrade at this time. And you're right, the RX 590 is a tuned RX 580 and it outperforms a GTX 1060 by a tiny bit, it's weaker than a GTX 1070.

The RTX 2060 outperforms the 1070 and even the 1070 Ti while it comes near the RTX 2070 and the GTX 1080.

Soon we will see the GTX 1660 Ti and the Radeon 7 (Vega II, VII) and later this year the Radeon Navi and maybe some new gen nVidia RTX.

I use 1080p. As for game settings, it depends on the game, usually in games like PUBG or R6Siege, I usually adjust my settings in order to have 144fps almost all time. In case for PUBG, you guess maybe, it's not possible.

As for single player games, I adjust my settings to highest while wanting to have a steady 60 fps. As you may have guessed, I don't really crave at the moment for a new gpu.

For the moment I'm satisfied with my current gpu, I am just looking with what are my options if right now I would upgrade to something.

As for the bf5/anthem, here in my country, the store promotion is still ongoing till 25 february while stock last, however I didn't call them to ask the more details, so I'm not sure who is right.
