With your resources you shouldn't have any issues with ram,

I'm assuming this is either a single core performance issue or a software one.

You can probebly not se that. I have one RAM per CPU

Do you mean 1GB of ram per 1 thread? Even still, that doesn't intrinsically present a bottleneck.

@Emanbaird is right, the performance depends on more than just ram per thread, because you have many resources.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Yeah because i've had builds with 12t 64gb of ram, and i've had builds with 32 threads and 16gb of ram, albeit completely different hardware.

But depending on the workload on the 16 machine we were only using maybe 8-9gb of ram in apps like blender, however the higher speed ram did help immensely, also does the ram you have support higher speeds than base? it looks like its running at the stock 2133hz, most ram i've been able to get upwards of 2600mhz with increased voltage on even the lowest end sticks.

Also have you tried running a stability test for your memory?

If your motherboard supports it you may notice an increase in performance with getting two more 16gb sticks and running quad channel, do you know if the board can do quad channel?

Yeah if it's caching to a hdd that could cause slowdowns, you have so much ram tbh you might want to disable pagefile entirely lol
