Did you plug in your monitor in the graphics card or the motherboard?

I was going to play with my friend and i found out that i my hardware specs were no longer suitable for R6, the graphics card i have is a 6gb 1060 so i checked to see what card it was using and i found that it was using the intergrated graphics of my CPU. I checked GPU tweak ii and i found that the card is set by defualt to 0 volts and the fans are set to 0 RPM. Is there anyone that knows why my graphics card has done this out of nowhere and if it is a software issue or hardware issue
